Who we are
DugsiCore is a service that helps schools take attendance and keep student and fee records. This notice explains how we handle personal information on this website, dugsicore.com, and through its contact form. To ask us anything about it, write to hello@dugsicore.com.
What we collect
If you use the "Ask for a demo" form, we receive what you type:
- your name
- your phone number
- your email address, if you give one
- your message, which may include your school's name
Like any website, our hosting provider also sees technical details when you visit, such as your IP address and browser type. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry and arrange a demo. You ask us to take steps before a possible agreement, so this is necessary to respond to you.
- To keep the form free of spam and abuse. A bot check runs when you send the form. We have a legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
We use these providers to run the site and receive your message. They process information on our behalf:
- Cloudflare hosts this website, runs its domain name and email forwarding, and provides the bot check (Turnstile).
- Resend sends the message you submit to us. We use its Ireland (EU) region.
- Google (Gmail) is the mailbox where we receive and answer enquiries.
These providers may process information outside the UK and the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards they offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry while we are in touch with you. If you do not become a customer, we delete it within 12 months of our last contact.
Cookies
We do not set cookies for tracking or advertising. The bot check runs in your browser and may use technical storage that it needs to work.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or move it to another service. You can also object to our use of it. Write to hello@dugsicore.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Student and school information in the app
This notice covers this website only. Information about students, staff and fees in DugsiCore (the app at app.dugsicore.com) is entered by schools, who are responsible for it. DugsiCore handles it on the school's behalf and does not use it for any other purpose. If you are a parent or guardian with a question about your child's record, please ask your school first.

If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top.
